Manager of Technology Services
Position: Full Time 12 Month; Non-Classified; Benefits eligible
Location: Moorefield, WV Headquarters
Overview: The Manager of Technology Services plans, organizes, directs and oversees all aspects pertaining to the day-to-day operations and coordination of technology services functions of the institution.
The Manager of Technology Services is responsible for directing, planning, implementing and coordinating the activities of the technology services area and staff. Job responsibilities require excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems. Work activities are carried out independently, under general direction, working from established policies and objectives. This position exercises sound judgement in prioritizing, planning, and organizing own work within time, process, and results requirements; determines processes and sequences to follow based on needs and urgency required by the circumstances. Problems faced in this position are highly varied, complex, and often non-recurring, which require novel and creative approaches to resolution. New concepts and approaches may have to be developed.
Additionally, installs, tests, and configures network workstation hardware and software in a predominately Windows and Windows Server environment; modifies software/hardware configuration in user workstations; debugs network problems.
Performs other functions as required or assigned. Also complies with all Policies and Standards.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 6 months related work experience. An applicant with less education may be acceptable based on additional years of relevant work experience.
Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience.
